It was an entertaining Friday afternoon to say the least. Machine Gun Kelly finally got his wish when Eminem fired back at his “Rap Devil” [Below] diss with some bars of his own in the form of “Killshot.” Em let MGK have it lyrically, dropping facts and tongue twisting disses about the Cleveland Bad Boy. Many fans felt Eminem got the better of the battle with his diss Friday, even while MGK doesn't seem to realize such.
On Kamikaze Em raps lines including, “I’m 45 and I’m still outselling you,” and “I’d rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you.”
He also responds directly to numerous “Rap Devil” barbs. For example, MGK raps, “Last time you saw 8 Mile was at home on a treadmill.” In response, Em, says, “I’m really sorry you want me to have a heart attack/Was watchin’ 8 Mile on my NordicTrack/Realized I forgot to call you back.” Em doesn't stop there; adding that Ow, Kelly, ooh, but I’m 45 and I’m still outselling you; By 29 I had three albums that had blew
Our opinion? Entirely two different rappers; with one having truly notable accomplishments than the other...and the difference between MGK's sneak-Diss on Tech's song + Rap Devil VS Eminem's Not Alike [FT Royce DA 5'9] + KillShot is undeniable; in the sense that Em, once again, proved to the world he is, indeed, the Rap God.
Fans immediately felt the impact of Em’s fury upon receiving “Not Alike,’ a Bad Meets Evil collaboration that found Machine Gun Kelly catching the ire of Evil incarnate:
“Now you wanna come and fuck with me, huh? This little cock-sucker, he must be feelin' himself He wants to keep up his tough demeanor So he does a feature, decides to team up with Nina But next time you don't gotta use Tech N9ne If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun And I'm talkin' to you, but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly I don't use sublims and sure as fuck don't sneak-diss But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie”
Machine Gun Kelly, as I hope to Satan you know by now, was one of a vast assortment of artists named on Eminem's surprise-dropped album Kamikaze. Given their years-long history of not exactly liking each other, Kelly's inclusion was certainly considered no shocker..
Kelly responded in great detail with his new cut "Rap Devil," which even has a music video. The title, of course, is a play on Em's own "Rap God." In terms of track name alone, Kelly already arguably has a very slight advantage, as any doofus knows devils > gods.
